Someone turned in paper work in July and still does not have the permit. They have used the permit process before with good success, a permit within 30 days.

Guess I will call Victory Monday morning and find out what is going on.

The Federal forms for interstate commerce permit (if you are getting the snake from an out-of-state seller) can be found at:

http://www.fws.gov/forms/3-200-55.pdf

I can't remember the name of the guy handling these permits now,
it used to be Victoria Davis at (404) 679-4176. Might be easier
to just call her and ask for the contact for Indigo permits.

Can't help you with any state required paperwork, my state didn't require any. Some states don't require any, but some states won't let you have Indigos at all.

Victoria Davis is no longer doing the permits. I was waiting on mine for about 2 months. Victoria's phone mail listed some alternate contacts. I left a msg with one of them (I think his name was Jeff) and he returned my call. The permit requests were basically sitting in a pile for a while as there was no replacement yet for Victoria, but he said he'd do all of them himself the next day (which he did). That's probably how the other guy that posted got his in 2 weeks, just the luck of the draw of when he sent it in and when they all got processed. I would suggest that if you've been waiting a while you call the number listed for Victoria and then start calling the people listed on her voicemail msg. Good luck.
