Warhol outside shots (DUW)

liquidleaf Oct 27, 2007 10:39 AM

So, yesterday was fairly nice, though overcast, and I took Warhol, my '06 male possible super salmon/hypo, outside before it rained.

He was produced by DM Exotics. He was especially dark yesterday - I love how velvety burgundy/purple he looks when he's in this phase.

What do you think of his vent scale? It's almost pure transparent white. My other f3 hypo's isn't like that... I hope it's an indicator that he really may be genetically dominant. Hopefully we'll prove him out next year.

Just wondering if his white vent scale might be an indicator of his being super or not. Any opinions?

I don't think it is a super because it contains too much melanin in terms of speckling throughout the body as opposed to a double dose of "melanin lacker" make sense or no?

True, he is very dark. But, there are a couple of weird things about him (his "moustache mark" above his lip is broken up, he's got that weird white vent scale) that I hope will turn out to be indicators of dominance. But, we'll see! He'll be old enough to breed next year and hopefully prove out, one way or the other.

I'll still love him, either way
