Your question is pretty vague. Deadly to their intended prey.

If you want to know the LD50 in mice, just look it up on the net.

If you're asking because someone told you their venom wasn't very strong, consider this. I don't know much about guns, but I know a .45 is more powerful than a .22. I'm not, however, going to pick up a .22 and start shooting/cleaning it just because it is not the most dangerous gun out there.

For humans, it could possibly kill you if you're unlucky. More likely, you'd be looking at severe disfigurement for the rest of your life. Twisted and useless fingers/limb. Possible finger amputation. If you're around the venom enough, it could also trigger an anaphylactic response, which is quick and deadly.

Black I'd start looking for a mentor. The questions you have asked lately show your lack of experience. Working with someone who can teach you a great deal will pay off in the end for sure. It would also enable you to work with a bunch of different animals instead of just 1. BTW mangroves have the 3 finger toxin, food for thought.

And also i think I should be treated with the same respect as the adults on here.

djs27 Oct 30, 2007 09:49 PM

To be honest, most people treated you as an adult. For example, I had no idea how old you were when I posted.

It would be easy at this point to discredit the advice people offered you because you may think that you're being treated unfairly. As for the great advice people gave you... you can take it or leave it.
