07 Black Pine

Steve_Craig Oct 27, 2007 08:26 PM

Hi all. Just wanted to show a couple of pics of my first Pit. I keep kings, corns, rats, etc. but have never worked with bulls, pines, or gophers. Well that all changed today. Here's a gorgeous 07 female black pine I picked up today at the Chantilly, Va. show, from Carl Gilmore out of Suffolk Selects.
It was between either a Kankakee Bull or A black pine, and I went with the Pine. I'm sure I'll add a Kankakee sometime in the near future. Thanks for looking.
Steve

Thanks Billy. I'm amazed how large these are as babies. This female looks likes she's ready for large fuzzies/small hoppers. It will be fun watching her darken up as she grows. Carl at Suffolk Selects had pictures of the adults, and they are solid black.

Steve, it is ready for large fuzzies or small hoppers, I recieved one from Lloyd H. Thursday and it ate two small hoppers yesterday and was looking for more. It had no problem whatsoever.

Todd, we either have the same taste in snakes, or we're copying each other, LOL. Since you picked up your blk pine on Thursday, I must be copying you. Eastern kings, speckled kings, emoryi, mexican milks, Black Pines...

Those babies got either large fuzzies, or small rat pinks, depending on what was handy.....
