Just got myself a new camera, a Canon PowerShot A720 IS. I'm pretty happy with it. Was a little over 200 bucks.

I like the reflecion in the first one lol

Taken with a borrowed 4 year old sony something camera.

Very Nice. I'm upgrading to the A550. You can always depend on Cannons to give you a nice shot!

I use the A540, they work great for close-ups and distance!
For a pics like this, I set it on MACRO and put the camera right in the cace about 5 inches from the snake

Took these pics from about 10 feet away

Took this pic of an albino squirrel from about 150 feet

Took the pic of a Cooper's Hawk eating a pigeon in front of a local bank from about 200 feet

A buddy of mine just got himself a brand new high end macro lens for his Rebel XTi. The camera and lens together are about a thousand bucks. Here's some pics he took of my snake. They make me
when I think about my pictures.

to everyone. nice photo's

All great pics Mike! And I especially love the closeup of the snow. I find it can be real difficult to take pics of albinos, the eyes catch the light strangely when the flash is used. But your pic shows the eyes perfectly. Did you use flash for that pic?

You don't need the flash usualy. It never works for really close up shots anyways.
That pic had very little flash. The nice thing about the powershot is that it adjusts the flash according to how much flash is needed. I get a lot if window lighting in my snake room, so the flash was very week.
