what would the babies be with a mack snow mother n a normal father
depends if the normal is het snow ?//.. i belive
but i would think normal looking geckos het for snow
Just to clear that up so no one gets confused... The Mack Snow trait and Normal trait have an Incomplete Dominant relationship. Not codom, not recessive. Two alleles for the Mack Snow gene results in a Mack Super Snow. One, and a Mack Snow. If it was codominant, and you had one MS allele, the gecko would show both traits in a blotch pattern.

Mack Snow is a dominant trait. If it's a Super snow, then all the babies will be Snows. If it's a Snow, then half the babies will be Snow, and the other half will be normal. Hope this helps. Good luck.

thanks for the help n quick reply i am getting two female snows one is het albino and i may be getting a super mack snow male but hes a little expencive at the mo but he is very nice. i already have 2 male normals and a female albino. not breeding till next year but was just lookin at my options many thanks
I recomend you put the mack het albino female, with a albino male, or mack het albino male. That will give you best results
Good luck
actually, mack snow is a co-dominant trait. Each egg would have a 50% chance of being mack and 50% chance of being normal. The super snow is the super form of the mack, so theoretically mack snow is a visual het for super snow.
