Hello,

I noticed that my hatchling's plastron is getting a little brown and I am wondering if this is normal. The brown stuff comes off if I rub. He/she is kept on moist cypress mulch. Is it just dirty or is it a sign of fungal infection? I hope I'm just being paranoid.

I also noticed a couple of tiny worms, about 1/8 of an inch on his plastron. They are white with black on their tips.

Can anyone tell whether this looks like a parasite or just soil worms?
