Recently i added two chinese firebellied newts to my ten gallon tank. It was already occupied by one firebellied newt. The two new ones died. I noticed white growth coming from their limbs, also i seen a big white ball of fungus. I usually clean the tank weekly. The original newt is still alive and healthy. How can i prevent this from happening?

Unfortunately, this is very common. Pet shop newts endure terrible conditions before and during their time at the pet shop, and many die soon thereafter. Your best bet is to get them as soon as possible when they arrive at the shop. Then keep them in quarantine (separate tank) for about a month. At least this way they cannot spread disease to your healthy one. Another option is to get captive bred ones from a breeder, but these are difficult to find. Better luck next time!
