Chantilly, VA show reports?

dustyrhoads Oct 29, 2007 11:51 AM

Was anyone here able to attend? See any cool critters?

I received a few e-mails last week from folks expecting me to speak on TPRSs on Saturday morning in VA. I apologize to anyone here who expected me to be there and was disappointed. The speaker schedule wasn't updated completely, and it still had me listed as a speaker for the 11:00 slot.

I will, however, be able to speak at the Arlington, TX show in February, and the new suboc book will be premiered there as well. Really looking forward to that one, and hoping to see a lot of you good people there.

Take care,

DR

Hey Dusty, I was at the show Saturday. I was trying to keep an eye out for your 11:00 talk. Always good to meet fellow fourm members. Hopefully I'll catch you next time at one of the shows.
Overall, a pretty good event. Had alot of nice animals. A great choice for Milksnakes & kings. Average to below average for corns. Various ratsnakes here & there. Don't remember seeing any subocs. Randy W. had some nice animals. He had a flavirufa, leopard ratsnake (e. situla), as well as some gorgeous honduran milks.
Other ratnsnakes I saw at the show. A Gulf hammock rat, everglades, several species of beauty snakes, as well as a cave dwelling rat (ridlei), trinket rats, Russian rats, and various others. I ended up witha black pinesnake.Steve

Is that a ghost grey band?

>>Is that a ghost grey band?

That's an anerythristic from Sanderson. Her older sister is in Merker's Alterna book, bottom of page 60. She's one of only two Blair's anerys from that locale.
