Got some real nice tang and tri-colour hypos in this clutch.... and the het hypo near the top is white! I've never seen a white tri-colour hondo! What do you guys think?

That is one VERY nice pile of snakes!

White banded "tricolors" are alot more uncommon than some of the beige/yellow ones, but there are a few nice white banded ones in the hobby......Yours is VERY white, and VERY clean as well!......that's a "keeper"!!LOL

Congrats!, ~Doug

I love the tri color hypos...

I'm not really a honduran milk snake guy... But I know with some snakes (like, scarlet kings for example), the bands will start off white, then turn yellow...

Maybe yours will do the same?
Maybe not.

Either way the tri color hypos are killer.

I'm guessing a hypo X het hypo???

Either way...that Het is really nice...the pattern is greatly reduced and that white is awesome! If the white does change, it might start tipping up with orange...but in my limited experience with Hondos, the heads show the orange color first (kinda like the tri-color)...yours seems completely white...so my guess it will remain that way.

I have an affinity for the tri-color hypos...but that het really stands out.

I think in a few years hets will actually be sought after, because everything produced will be a visible Hypo, Anery, Amel...etc.

Congrats...

The parents were Tri-Colour Hypo X 100% DH Ghost

Here is mom with her second clutch of this year that just hatched above. She is real clean!

You are right - also never seen such a white and black contrasting honduran - I suggest you are also thinking late but...

You really like your Canon EOS 5D, I love how detailed your photos are do you spend much time setting up the shots or is it simply point and shoot? I hope one day I can take photos with that detail and color, great snakes as well!!!

Thank you Jason.

Yes the Canon 5D is my baby... I own 2 of them!

This shot was simply open the bin, point the flash at the ceiling above and fire off a few shots!

I love to set up nice shots of snakes on white melamine but with hondos its damn hard to get them to stay still. They love hugging the hot spot after they hatch so its so easy to take pics then!

Thanks again

Very nice animal Shannon. Very white bands but then there is that bright orange head... this animal that I hatched doesn't seem to have any colour on the head?

I could use another honduran around here like a hole in my head but I guess I am genuinely hooked!
