illbeyoursoldier Oct 30, 2007 09:34 AM

I'm not sure!!!

I hadn't jotted the name down and forgot to take a pic of the banner as a reminder. Its the same guy that had all those killer Chondros above it... Makes me feel bad because I actually talked to the guy for a while...

It was across the way from BHB, does anyone else remember??

The Paradox was produced by Trooper Walsh who was at the show. Not sure on it being genetic?

Do you have contact info for him, or a website? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I think my sentence was wierdly phrased. I meant:

(I live on the west coast )

I think that Marc Baileys setup is mislabeled and it is Amir's? Gargoyles are Amir's I'm pretty sure.

What the heck is that black beauty? That black snake, is that even a Ball Python? I forget was his/her belly black too in the pic? I dont ever remember seeing that before...that is my favorite one of the whole bunch.

Who likes that Bee Pied one? The more I see Pied combos the more I know I dont like them. Its bitter-sweet in a way, owning a Pied. I am glad I decided to breed my own with hets and not to just buy one, cause making it, having your own Pied crawl from the egg is where the fun is. Once you have one, that is pretty much as far as you can go with it 'cause it looks like crap in combos. This is just my opinion, but I have a feeling I am not alone with this opinion. Yeah...yeah...I know if you are selling Pied combos, or are going to be, you have to say how great they are, but come on?? Another white snake, only this one has a goofy yellow hat on and its 25k....uhhh thats ok.

ballzy Oct 30, 2007 06:31 PM

Have you not seen the Lavender Albino Pied? I agree that most pied combos are pretty blah and that a normal pied usually looks as good or better but the LAP is an exception.

zefdin Oct 30, 2007 07:09 PM

I have not seen this combo yet, I am going to check it out. I hope it looks good. I am not glad Pied combos look like crap, it is just the way it is in my opinion. I should hopefully have Pieds myself by this spring if all goes well, and I think it actually sucks that all the Pied combos that I have seen look like junk. I personally think the darker traits like Black Pastel, Cinnamon & their supers, the Sable or Axanthic,....etc might go better as a combo with the Piebald, but I do not recall seeing that many dark combos to date?

I mean honestly, who in their right mind would rather have the Bee x Pied that was shown @ Chantilly for 25k or 10-15 regular Pieds for that price? I mean its a no brainer in my opinion...?? That right ther tells you that something is definately wrong with the brew.

illbeyoursoldier Oct 31, 2007 09:14 AM

I heard somewhere that somebody did make that "Black and White" animal, a black pastel pied, does anyone know if thats true??

Sorry in advance, I'm not trying to dig up rumors. I would love to see that little stunner of a snake...

The Black snake I was holding was a redtail boa and she was amazing. It was from Pete Kahl's table and he said he hadn't named it yet and was produced from a killer Mom that was just as weird and beautiful. The picture does no justice for it.

It was black with random white flecks down it, almost indicating that there once was a pattern; and the tail was an eye-catcher as it was completely black as well, with a pure white outline around its diamond pattern.

The belly scales were black too, with some white outline, as well. It was killer.
