I take it that there is a yellow belly in there somewhere. What other gene/genes are needed to produce the inferno ball? Thanks in advance.

I think Kevin or someone else said there was no pastel involved. Just start putting all your double co-dom combos with yb females and hope to hit it, lol.

0.6 50% poss het pied
1.1 Pastel (male has additional gene going on with him)
a bunch of normal female breeders
a bunch of normal female holdbacks and several rescued normal males

0.1 columbian boa, she's a feeding monster, controls my
over production of rats, lol
0.1 brazilian rainbow boa, another rat eating monster
1.1 corns

Good guess with the calico though!

"Inferno generally refers to a large fire or hell." (wikipedia). Just a guess..... Fireball, woma, Yellowbelly.

I was thinking fire instead of pastel also but I didn't even snap to the clue in the name....doh!

Even though the guy from Nerd who created the Inferno and the BHB guy said there is no Pastel or Lemon Pastel in the Inferno, I have uncovered the secret of the Inferno's genetics and I have decided to disclose these secrets here today...Sorry Kev LOL

From what I understand....

Woma Pastel Yellowbelly = Inferno

(Not sure if it's Lemon Pastel or normal Pastel..)

I'm sure someone will confirm or correct me on that...

Fire/Yellow Belly/Calico

Fire and YB for sure... it's that third one that is getting me. I don't think Woma... there is too much pattern for that. Maybe Cinny?

I guess I'll have to wait for a few years to find out... by the time Kev discloses the ingredients maybe I'll have everything needed... LOL
