Well the breeder that produced the snake felt it was worth $60,000, its a free market so he priced it that way. Now do you want to buy the snake? Its up to you man.

The way I look at it, when a breeder puts a large amount of money like that on an animal, it's a nice way of saying "not for sale" or "please inquire and maybe we can make a deal."

When will the window shoppers ever stop complaining about the prices of rare, high end ball python mutations? It just reeks of jealousy and envy to me...

just my .02...

The seller obviously isn't determined to sell it. He's just saying "Here it is...if you'll pay this much, I can't afford to keep it."

As far as what the snake's really worth, who knows? I'm pretty cynical about anything priced over a few thousand bucks, but if any morph is worth that kind of money, the banana might just be the one. I can't think of another morph that makes people go "wow" like the banana does.

Sudden price increase??

What happened last week, did someone prove the Banana's 'super' to be a white snake??
(Sorry, couldn't resist the Mojave joke/reference...)
