Orange Ghost Fire

MikeWilbanks Oct 30, 2007 01:52 PM

We produced the Orange Ghost Fire this year. The Fire gene really kicks things up a notch or several notches. I continue to be very excited about this project and the potential with combos. It is still WIDE open.

wow mike, awesome snake. the fire gene is amazing, a gene i must get added to my collection. i just acquired an adult orange ghost from your line, and she blows me away everytime i take her out of her tub. she is literally yellow and lavander at 1500 grams. i was just about to reply to the pastel fire post above to ask about a fire hypo combo when i saw this post. what a combo it is. cant wait to see it in person. amazing.

Very nice...I wonder if the hypo gene would take away some of the yellow splotching that shows up in the super fires? Looks like you are poised to find out! Congrats!

I was thinking the snake looked foggy and the acronym fits but eventually people will make them with other flavors of ghost.

If there was one way to improve the frosty look of a ghost, this is it. It's too bad everyone gets so caught up in the white thing that they forget the fire is also a co-dominant hypo...not to say it doesn't make a killer white too.

I love it. I think that snake is awesome I can't believe how much the fire gene combined with the ghost gene really made a kick butt looking snake. I am more than stoked now that my male fire is getting bred to a female ghost this year! What a awesome combo!

Nice job Mike.

Very cool makes me happy I held back all those fire females. Congradulations, Mike.

RandyRemington Nov 02, 2007 09:14 PM

Did you hold back some ghost females too?

Dang, anyone who has been breeding ghosts for the last 7 or 8 years should keep doing well for at least a few more. That's the morph I really regret not buying when they where under appreciated early but who knew.

Very Nice. I had not even considered a fire until I saw that pic. We still have not seen all that a YB can do but that pic is enough to make me want a fire.
