Here is a Fire Pastel we produced this year. The Fire cleaned the Pastel up completely and shows a nice contrasting Yellow and Black. I really like this morph and I can't wait to see some further combos with it.

.....ask Ted Thompson from S-Ecto.com (Susquehanna Ectotherms)......

and he made a male now.......he's been getting female fires and Pastel fire.........

How many other morphs can you name that will make the colors of other morphs get better and brighter as they mature? Not to mention the ever-present potential for the black-eyed Leucy. We'll be seeing a LOT more of the FIRE in the next few years.

Does anyone have any morphs besides pastel with the fires? Looks great!

Didn't Brandon call the first Fire Pastel produced a "Nova"???

I knew I was going to have to clear this up sooner or later......I liked "NOVA", which is a great name if you're a science guy! Especially when the superpastel fire could be supernova! But too many people are thinking car and what not, so I decided to use another name. Although it wasn't created by me, I liked the name a lot, and thought it would be best to choose the name best for the project. So no worries! Great memory.....

Nice one Mike !! I think Fires are awesome and with tons of potential to clean up other mutations. Can't wait to make some of these myself !
