EARTHQUAKE? My girlfriend ran out of the house and I ran straight for the boa racks! She was kinda pissed but a 5.6 can knock stuff off the walls. Anyways, hope all of you are ok, even more so Brian gundy,Dave C.,Dave L. and Chris S. The center was in Alum Rock Very close to those guys. Hope all is well!

I hope you are all okay. I didn't even feel it up here in Vallejo.

Hey Ruben, LOL running for the racks, sounds like me!!!!

I'm in South San Jose and it shook pretty good here. Nothing fell over and none of the cages had any problems, even the tub racks were fine. Didn't have to check with all my family to know they were OK, they were all over at my house for my B-day party. LOL, oddest B-day party I've ever had!!

Hi Ruben,

All okay here near Oakland. I had some empty wine bottles fall off the fridge and a couple pictures fall over. That sure was a looooong quake! Not very bad tho (I was in San Jose for the '89 shaker, so not bad compared to that one). I ran into my snake room and held onto the tall glass cage I have my adult ATB in, that one is not very sturdy but luckily it didn't fall over. My cat just sat there and purred away sitting in my freshly done laundry, so much for animals being able to predict earthquakes! lol I'm going to get some wall anchors and strapping to secure my cages to the wall just in case for next time. The Hayward fault has a big one every 140 years or so and we are coming up on 130 years.

My dad is in San Jose near where it hit, he just said the drawers on filing cabinets fell open and some pictures went crooked, no damage there either.

Hope everyone else was okay too!

And instantly wondered how all you Cali guys were! Nice to know you are okay Ruben. We get little trimmers here in TN every once in a while, but nothing like a 5.6! Glad all you guys are okay!

Ruben:

Everything is great here in Campbell.

Thanks for your concern.
