Impatient behavior

mwrinkle Oct 31, 2007 10:07 AM

Recently my baby bearded, which seemed well adjusted to its conditions , has been recently showing signs of wanting to escape. Jumpin towards the ceiling, climbing scratching the walls, and digging. AS I write this it is pacing the one corner of the hotside performing ocassional arm waving. Since from my vanatge point it can't possibly see me, who is it putting on this display for!

Can he see his reflection? Is he in glass?

Yes he is! Occasionally he mistakes crickets reflections and attacks the glass when I feed him. Are you telling me he is unable to realize his own reflection and that display earlier was with himself?

Yes. Most likely. I had a new cricket keeper on the floor in another room and a sub adult male out on the floor boobed his head and then attacked the dragon that is on the lable. lol.

This time of year the room he is in is probably not as bright, making it brighter in his enclosure letting him see his reflection in the glass rather than seeing through it.
