When chams scrape or bump themselves, the skin turns black. It could be that a branch poked him there as he was walking. Keep an eye on it, if it seems to get worse, a visit to the vet would be in order. Hopefully, it just might get lighter with his next few sheds. If you are really concerned, apply a bit of Neosporin ointment to the spot daily, this should aid in healing.
