Or, at least the male is! LOL!
Got home from out of town last night and a recent addition, an adult female Hogg was being courted by my high orange male that I'd added to her enclosure a few days earlier, before I left for work. Apparently, before I got home one of them had tipped the water bowl to create the 'sauna effect.' Perhaps to get her in the mood? ;p I snapped a few pics of him courting and getting dang close to his goal... I like to keep record of these things in case she takes.
She is dark now due to being in a new environment and so humid, but she is gorgeous normally... typical light background with speckles and an amazing orange tail. I can't wait to take pics when she is back to normal...
Here is a couple pics of the action... I hope she decides to be receptive ;p It's a bit blurry because of all the condensation on the glass... They were still going at it this morning...

ooohhhhh ok my "boyfriend" has been courting Flick(see above post) and the newspaper is in the water bowl, twice now and on holloween there was white stuff on the door, and humid like yours, hummmm, hot tub/sauna is the trick, lol//// congrats, i havn't seen anything like yours and hope i am just missing it, but there have been some good twists, but not zig zags as yours shows, i think he is shy and therefore i don't check in on them but once a week.

Good luck to you too then... the first two days he was shy too and just curious, but I had high hopes since I had noticed sperm plugs before I put him in (the reason why I put them together in the first place.) Apparently, she either gave off the right pheromones or he just was feeling his oats! ;p I have since taken at least 5 more photos throughout the course of the day to record the incident and get better shots as the condensation evaporated, but I can never catch any of direct copulation (with hemipenes exposed) even as they change positions and move about the cage. Seriously, with all my snakes, you'd think I'd catch one of my guys making direct contact LOL!
