Whatever you want but if you do indeed feed in the enclosure just make sure the rodent isn't wet so substrate could stick to it and live just pluck and put in twitching. All of my snakes eat off of tongs and if a live mouse were to go in the cage those dumba--es wouldn't even know it until it touched them cuz are looking up for food at my house

I use to use a feeding tub but just don't have the time no more to do it, just imagine Dave and his 200 snakes transferring them like musical tubs but the honest answer is as long as they don't swallow no substrate then leaving them in their enclosure is as stress free as it gets. Use tongs and GENTLY lower the pinky to his nose and let him smell it and if he don't want to bite it then touch on him on the nose with it but not if he is taking off away from the food-hope it helps

its up to you i feed all mine in the cage as do i think most everyone on here only thing with feeding in the cage is if you use cypress aspen or thigns liek that if you got a wet mouse it might stick to it more as to where newspaper or somethign liek that pieces wont stick to and the snake cant eat. so honestly this one is up to you any problem feeders the less handling the better and i find alot of times feel more compfy feeding inside cage while in the hide box and come flying outt he hide hole lol
