I put my kings in the basement and went to check on them a few days later and the female was in her water bowl and every time I check on them she is still in the bowl is this ok

Yes it is okay for cal kings. But I only water my adult kings once or twice a week overnight. Then I take the bowls out..

Otherwise make sure you change out that water bowl frequently.

So I could leave the bowl in it wont hurt right I dont know why Im worried

First off check to be sure that your snake does not have mites..

If it's clean and you don't like her sitting in the water all day just switch to a smaller bowl that the snake cannot fit into..
