Are there any other lizards that make good pets besides leo's and bearded dragons? Any rare ones that don't mind being handled?

You can find really friendly collared lizards. They can be very hyper tho and can also run very fast.

I've got leopard geckos, crested geckos, schneider skinks, and a chuckwalla. All are handleable and friendly.
The leopard geckos and crested are awake at night, while the skink and chuckwalla are awake during the day. That way I have something to play with at all times of the day or night.

Monitor lizards, iguanas, blue tounged skinks, uro's, water dragons, and frilled dragons can all make good pets. Some are more challenging to keep than others (I wouldn't recommend monitors or iguanas to the beginner).
