but shes been trying to push thee eggs out with my con cerin i dont care about the eggs now ionly care about blitz
we were at the reptile vet monday and they gave us a smal dosigage of like a calcuim liquid to see if that would help her lay the eggs it did not so
yesterday we took her again and they gave us needles and two in jections to give her
so now shes on a better calcuim injection to help raise her calcuim supplment .
and a injection to help her ovalat ..?

Sorry she's having such a rough time of it! From your post though, it sounds like you're doing everything you possibly can to help, so I'm sure she'll pull through. There are plenty of people out there who'd have avoided going to the vet because of the cost - I have to commend you on doing the right thing for your gecko.

Best of luck to both of you, and let us know how it turns out.

Be careful with the oxytocin injection... it helps your leo to push the egg. But it can also make her produce several eggs at the same time...
Good Luck! And please keep us updated..

well if its her 7th clutch it could be getting close to her last and it seems that with my females towards the end they stop pushing the clutches out as fast as the first 5 or so. the last clutches seem to take a little longer, sometimes a lot longer to the point that i thought they were done laying, then when i feed them i find a pair of eggs.

thanks all im really hoping she lays
just like you said your right her last to eggs were duds and she seemed to go slower each time ,
but her last clutch was 9/11/07
and she did not have eggs in her and then all of a sudden she seemed to have them in her about 2 weeks ago.. and she would lay about two weeks ( 17 days ) about
and boom we could exactly tell you a date she would lay and now they are going slower and her tail is getting smaller and it use to be huge.. and shes losing fat in her legs and we called the ( are herp vet ) and asked so thats why we took her to the vet ,
i really hope she lays though by tomorrow it would be so nice
i have the money for the vet , just in case ,,, and i gave her
her calcuim coated crickets all the time but i guess sence shes layed 6 clutchs and being 45 grams from then she never seems to regain the weight and thee eggs take it all from her ,
she ate crickets a few days ago but i belive regurated them in the car when we went to are first vet visit...
so im hoping for the best .. and if she does not lay them she will end up having surgery
which im ok with but the vet recommend to spade her too and i would like to breed her again once her weight gets up but now im not so sure that will happen and surgery might be reqired and she will be just a house pet.
at lease i got 6 hatched eggs out of her for her first time breeding
