How do you guys heat your larger cages..Im in the process of constructing some very large natural zoo like displays for monitors and for a green anaconda? we are looking at 20x20 for water and croc monitors and 20x20 for an amazon display..anyone got any ideas to keep and indoor type river or larger pond with some good filtration?

I would use either an electric or gas powered radiant heater, depending on which power source is most readily available. I built a 12x12 cage for a zoo's caiman exhibit and it was hard to heat. Fortunately we had room to hide some heat lamps.

Regarding rivers and ponds, how much filtration do you need? This really can be as simple as using a sump pump to move water through a mechanical filter and back into the pond.
