Very cool pics of a king cobra in the wild--did your gf suspect its lethal identity? It's sort of, "If you can identify the head scales and hood--you're too close!"
she knew that were a cobra... she filmed it very carfull.
when she show me the pic's i go nuts that she went so close.
told her i think its a king..but wosnt so shure {never so a king with this colors.
thank you very much
*sorry if my english is rubbish, i try my best..
youval {israel}
youval,
Don't worry about your english. The pictures were great! That would have been very exciting to experience!

I was just kidding--the pics were so well sequenced it was just kind of funny to see it starting to hood in the last frame! Sort of like the snake was saying, "I really am a king cobra, don't make me show you!" You should send these to Reptiles Magazine, they are very rare and original photos!
You are very fortunate to see such a site. It's very rare to find them since they are deep forest dwellers.

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
That is just badass!!
thank you for posting them pix
Those islands are gorgeous, great honeymoon location. I was going to say nothing that exciting happened on my honeymoon, but I had better not... hey, we were living together!
Maybe I can talk my wife into a second honeymoon...

Great pics, but I'm not sure I'd want to be standing anywhere that would allow me to take a picture straight down at a king...
Seems more like really good zoom lens territory to me
