Very cool pics of a king cobra in the wild--did your gf suspect its lethal identity? It's sort of, "If you can identify the head scales and hood--you're too close!"

she knew that were a cobra... she filmed it very carfull.

when she show me the pic's i go nuts that she went so close.
told her i think its a king..but wosnt so shure {never so a king with this colors.

I was just kidding--the pics were so well sequenced it was just kind of funny to see it starting to hood in the last frame! Sort of like the snake was saying, "I really am a king cobra, don't make me show you!" You should send these to Reptiles Magazine, they are very rare and original photos!

Those islands are gorgeous, great honeymoon location. I was going to say nothing that exciting happened on my honeymoon, but I had better not... hey, we were living together!
Maybe I can talk my wife into a second honeymoon...

Great pics, but I'm not sure I'd want to be standing anywhere that would allow me to take a picture straight down at a king...
Seems more like really good zoom lens territory to me
