Good questions! But I don't know the answers.
I have a tank of (suposedly feeder) rats in the same room as my Great Basin Gopher snake, who now refuses to eat, but is still very active. Could this have some bearing on the issue? Or is it simply that time of year?
The 2 tanks are 40 inches apart, at their nearest sides.
This snake has always had an attitude, and been a finicky eater.
