LSD, PBM .....others

First for LSD. Dude stop tripping! LOL love that screen name.
From the link you posted:

A Hypo!? Yes a Hypo import from Colombia. This little fellow was a new born baby at the time but is a fully adult breeder male now. I actually have stubbornly been trying to get him to breed one female in particular. A Rob Tudehope produced Pastel that I bought from Rob about 13 or 14 years ago. She has yet to produce for me. I have had this Hypo in trying to breed that female for the past three breeding seasons. No more. He is getting a new younger girl this year. This girl is a DuBay Pastel that coincidentally was produced by Erich 8 or 9 years ago. So I am hoping finally to have some true all Colombian bloodline Hypos maybe in the spring

Has the "Pure Hypo Colombian" produced offspring? From what I read it has not. So as far as now, theirs no "Pure" col hypos. Further it says it was an import from Colombia....who's to say it did not crawl down to Colombia from Panama? Also.... Just because it's on a web page doesn’t make it true.

Did you read this response?

Good luck! I know many people may not think this is significant, but I happen to be someone who does! You need to make more then play super catch up and breed it to all pure Colombian morphs

Does this guy know what the "pure Colombian morphs" are today?
I would venture NOT.

Well, I feel for you PBM it's funny how your "muttleys" are the only ones being branded that way. Let's all forget about the originator of the motleys breeding them to different locales, Cancun boas etc.....There’s quit a few countries separating them from Colombia. If yours are muttleys, he was defiantly the First.

Point is they are ALL MUTTS! I would like to hear any comments on this subject.

LOL....
My screen name is my initials. Sad, but true.

I'm not sure of the purity of any boa. I guess it would hard for anyone to be 100% sure, unless they went out and collected them personally.

I guess if you want to call them "mutts" you can.

I think I would prefer.... "Locality Challenged". LOL.

Maybe LC for short.

I am not a hard core purist by any means. I don't necessarily agree that Suris should mate with pastels and don't really like the fact they have colombian influence in any Suri albino (unless it was an import). However I do think it matters when the first Leopard Sunglows are made, which hypo did they use sonoran, nic, panamanian....? Then what albino gene did they use- Kahl (bci) or t-pos (nic). How pure will the first Leopard Sunglow be? So another ? is mating a nic with a sonoran a mutt? or does this fall under the LC also?

I agree with you. I think as long as it falls into the BCI realm, its fine with me. However the problem comes to be when large breeder’s condom the little guys like PBM while they are doing the same damn things. It’s all about marketing these days. The large breeders have to trash talk the little guys.

Even Hans has said he doest know for sure if the leopards are in fact sonoran. So..........MUTTS.
