I plan on going to the expo in white plains and buying a baby blood python.I have my cage set up already. All I need is sphagnum moss. Can I get moss at the expo? Also would I be able to see the snake eating there as well? Harold

It depends who's there as to weather or not you will find sphagnum moss. If there's a lot of supply people or maybe if there is a botanical supply place vending there.

As for getting to see the animal eat, chances to this are very slim. This, in my opinion at least, is one of the only downsides to buying an animal at an expo.

Not sure about the spagnum.

Doubt you'll be able to see them eat at the show.
Buy from captive bred from a reputable breeder and you won't have an issue. Keith McPeak will be there (at the Pro mist table), as will Earth's Exotics. I've gotten great animals/eaters from both.

Good luck!
