Well gosh darn it, I am worrying a little bit here. Its been about 12 hours since the first one cut the egg and now is completely out with the exception of the umbilical and the other 8 have not even cut the eggs yet. Last year they all pretty much emerged at the same time, Last years when I checked on them I had like 20 little heads poking out of the egg. Should I consider cutting the eggs myself? If so how long should I wait to do so?

Go ahead and cut them. I waited about 20 hours this year and 2 or 3 had already suffocated in the egg. It doesn't have to be a huge slit. Just about 1/8"-1/4".
