carpet x scrub pics?

meeslither Nov 04, 2007 01:52 PM

this is actually my second request. I know they are out there but so far I no luck. Ill be making an attempt at crossing these two in a few years(when my babies grow up). I have what looks to be a hybrid male scrub, he has the bar neck but otherwise he is patternless with vibrant green an yellow, and a female papuan carpet. Shes young but large for her age and as active a snake as Ive ever seen, and MELLOWWWW. Im sure she'll make an awesome momma.
Thanks,
Jason

Jason, I began looking through my pic archives and haven't found the Scrub X Carpet pic I had. Still a long way from being done searching though lol. But Mol X Coastals were produced by Mardy McManus of www.mardy.ca in 2006.
What makes you think your scrub is a hybrid? They are highly variable. Post or email a pic and I can tell you more of the possibilities.

I gotta put together an image file on my computer before i can get a pic of him up. But like I was saying, hes almost patternless, with the ghost of that bar neck pattern on an olive green and yellow background, very pale and bright like those smaller varieties of new guinea scrubs, whose locale names I cant remember. Mollucan maybe? Also his head is slimmer than a typical bar neck. I picked him out of a batch of imports, none looked anything like him. See what I can do about those pics....
