Update from earlier post below showing Russian hatchling with enlarged egg sac.

Today the sac has reduced dramatically & the little devil looks set to survive.

very common in leopards. After having hundreds survive it is not a worry at all but it sure as hell looks nasty.

only 10gms, normal weight for the hatchlings is 16 - 18gm, so this one has a lot of catching up to do.
