after all of those trips into the jungle, I caught my first retic in the wild. I just got back a few days ago from a trip to SE Asia. This particular area is the island of Koh Chang in the Trat Province of Thailand. The island is just off the coast in the Gulf of Thailand and almost split evenly between the Thai and Cambodian border. We were on our way back from a Thai wedding party hence not being dressed as I normally do for the jungle.
We housed her overnight and the following day removed several very large ticks from her head and neck prior to releasing her. Getting musked was worth the photo documentation
