I. Executive Summary: The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission will consider and possibly vote on the selection of a new TPWD executive director.

We must make sure that Represtative Havey Hilderbran will not be condisered for this positionl. He must also to be defeated in the November 2008 election.

These meeting are not open to public comment. After the notice is published in the Texas Register we will have 30 days to comment via letters and e-mails to the Commissioners.

That's the message I was given from TP&W. Lots of letters to the Commissioners should/could make the difference. It did work recently with turtle issues.

Yes, it appears to be; however, I thought there was a possession limit of 6 for species on the black list. I don't see that. Is the limit per species or for all species taken together?

If you read, in a round-about way they tell you that you have to go back to the subchapter and then go to a different section covering the permits

(e) No person shall engage in commercial activity involving any nongame species not listed in subsection (d) of this section, except as provided in §65.327(e) of this title (relating to Permit Required) ....

§65.327 Permit Required

(3) A person without a nongame or nongame dealer's permit may:

(A) possess six or fewer specimens of a species of nongame wildlife listed in §65.331(e)of this title, provided the person does not engage in commercial activity involving the nongame wildlife; and

2) Any idea what data sources were used?
