This is just a suggestion.....I would get rid of that hot rock if I were you. They aren't really good methods of heating reptiles. They can either way too hot or not warm enough, both of which can cause major problems. I'd get a good under tank heater.

Thanks, I read that in another post to some photos that someone else had posted... See, I live in a sort of small city and the pet store where I actually bought Monty says that they can't get them in due to some kind of ordering problems. Would you have any suggestions on where I could possibaly order one from the net???

i believe petsmart.com and petco.com sell heat pads.

You can get them from any big herp supplies dealer, like Big Apple, Bean Farm, etc. Petsmart and PetCo generally over-price their products, even on-line.
