I'm not sure if this is the right forum for my question, but you all seem quite knowlegable.
I could use some advice on switching baby/young snakes from live to f/t rodents. I seem to suck at it. I warm up the prey, I've tried moving it around like it's alive, I've tried leaving them in a small, dark container with it. I'm just not having success...

try dipping the feeders into un-salted chicken broth, or making a hole in the skull and squeezing out brain matter, or making it a little warmer than a live rodent. I had a snake that would only eat the feeders if they were pretty darn warm, almost hot. A lot of people swear by the chicken broth thing.

What kind of baby snakes?

Thank you. Right now it's a baby Kenyan Sand Boa, but I've also struggled switching Hog Island boas. I'll try those suggestions.
