Post shed Guyanas: Finally

jazzmachine Nov 05, 2007 12:10 PM

Well it seems like these guys were in shed for way too long. Even though it's been 3 weeks since they were born, they still look absolutely huge. And now they are really becoming themselves and settling in: very defensive, and for a baby they can make me bleed every time.
Well here they are in all their glory. Just a couple of them right now. Such variety in color and pattern, some are really dark and some have huge contrasting colors on them. There are also 4 with a good ammount of striping starting at the head. Needless to say the 2 that show it the most are definitely staying, and they are also 1.1. Enjoy the pics...

Kevin,
..They are looking good. Just curious about how it goes marketing them in Canada. There seem to only be a few Rainbow Boa breeders and lots of demand, at least for BRBs in Canada. Do you know of any other Cnandians breeding Guyanans?
Jeff

Hey Jeff. Just started to market them on the weekend. So far alot of interest, and most people seem to want more than a pair. I've actually only gotten rid of one pair so far, and that was to a friend here.
I notice there is alot of Brazilian breeders up here, and quite alot of random Columbians for sale all the time. Other than that though, the occasional Venezualan or Peruvian is all I have ever seen. And of those, it is maybe a lone male or female once or twice a year.
Offered food for the first time on Saturday night as well. Out of the remaining 9, 5 ate. The ones that ate, all got fuzzy's and really no noticable lump at all in any of them.

Kevin

p.s. Too bad they can't go down to you Jeff... hopefully pics will suffice for a while...

Holy pin cushion Batman!!!
For me they always try and go for either the pointer finger or my palm for some reason. I should probably stop rubbing mice and rats on my hands when they start to dry out with the weather.

Yeah, for some reason they don't like me messing with their private parts. Go figure!!
