Hey guys i have an 07 purple albino that everytime i take out to handle sort of urinates sprays me..... i'm not handling it for multiple days after it feeds and it does it everytime i take it out haha just curious if this is normal and will outgrow this ... thanks... smells awful haha

I have had 4 of 5 retics do this to me when they first come in. after a while they stop. He is still a little fearful of you at this point. He is hoping that his pissing on you will make you let go, when he realizes you are not a threat, he will stop this. Every animal is different, I have some that did it for months, others a few times, and some never. Its the luck of the draw and it looks like you got luckey

haha very lucky indeed.....so then i should keep holding him even after he sprayed me then ?? just to prove that it doesn't matter? or should i still put him back in there.... b/c he still is defensive some times so that makes sense that he's scared.

If you keep putting him back, then he will learn that if he pisses on you, you let go. So when he does it, just pretend like he didnt. After a while he will figure out that it is a lost cause to do it and will stop.
