Pastel and ghost forms question?

eryc Nov 06, 2007 06:05 PM

Hello all,
Given the many forms of pastel (blonde, lemon, Graziani, etc.) and ghost/hypo (butterscotch, orange, etc.) I am wondering if there are any general opinions on what makes the best pastel and/or ghost. I know many will be in the possession of Graziani pastels and NERD orange ghosts and may be biased in their opinion, so I am soliciting opinions from those who have owned many different forms or have seen them at shows.
I plan on making some honeybees and bumblebees using stock from Brian Sharp (blonde pastel and butterscotch ghost). I am wondering if this is a good idea or should I be striving for some other combination of the various forms?
Thanks very much!

As far as pastels go, I've seen really nice examples from every line, so it seems to come down to personal preference. I like orange and butterscotch ghosts better than yellow ghosts, but again that's just personal opinion.

Hope this helps,
Shelly
