I've been thinking about corns...

AbsoluteRae Aug 23, 2003 07:14 PM

My brothers' cat ate my kingsnake two years ago and I've been dying to get back into reptiles ever since. However, I'm in college now, and money is pretty tight. I've found some good prices on food, but I'm wondering how long mice can stay frozen before they're unfeedable. BTW, I hear corns have a calm temprament and make great pets. Besides, I think that they are beautiful (not that my king wasn't a hunk).

I don't think pinkies last as long, but mice with hair can last over 6 months. I have fed fuzzies before that were a year old (and were only kept in a freezer bag - not vacuum-packed) and they were a little freezer burnt and fell apart sometimes, but the snake I fed them to ate them with no problem and she was fine.
