anybody have a nice pic of a pastel and a normal together?
also what are the difference between a $100 pastel and a $350 one... they are both pastel right and to me they look the same... pardon my ignorance.

sorry don't have a pic on hand for you. but the different in the 100 pastel vs the 350 one could be the difference between a male and a female.

Pastels do vary a lot as far as the brightness or amount of yellow, unique pattern elements as well and many people will charge extra for special animals.
Other factors that could explain the difference are:
Age
Size
A second trait (such as a pastel het clown)
Proven breeding experience
And last but not least the animal could just be overpriced!
If you just want a pastel and are concerned about getting the best one or being able to breed it immediately, buy the $100 one.

heres an example of a one year old lemon pasel female and a normal looking male baby- hes a het axanthic.
