need some advice

ReptiKH24 Aug 23, 2003 07:36 PM

i was on vacation for 10 days and had left 3 leos and 2 incubating eggs for my mom to look after. My eggs were due to hatch while i was away. 1 did and the other was dead in its shell. Now the thing is the baby is 2 days old and its stomach looks a little sunken in like it need food real bad. I gave it 1 mealworm that was pretty big actually and it ate it. Should i worry about this or will it look better once i start feeding it on a daily basis. I dont think it shed yet. and the rest of the body looks fine. Thanks for any input.

Dont' worry, the important thing is that it's eating!

It will learn to eat it's own shed, it's instinctive, and it's fairly abnormal circumstances (this time) so just go with the flow. Remember these guys are very resiliant!
