Parazap...

CollardGuy Aug 23, 2003 07:39 PM

How do you treat your lizards? It is meant for humans? So I would think the dosage would be lower.

What is the drug in Parazap? I'm not familiar with that name, but I'm assuming it is a dewormer of some kind. If you know the drug name you could find a dosage in a Merck manual if it is usable on herps.

....not-quite-as-manicured-farmer-hand:

"Because para-zap is made from 100% natural ingredients, overdosing is not a concern. Para-zap is a food supplement, not a medicine or drug. It allows the reptile body to gently eliminate the parasites[...]."

Ingredients:
Juglans nigra... (something to do with black walnut)
Artemisia absynthium...(wormwood; they mis-spelled it; see Toulouse-Lautrec)
Syzygium aromaticum...(cloves, you can smell 'em)
Tabebuia impetiginosa...(inner bark of the Pau D'Arco tree)
[note to JohnE: this bark contains flavonoids LOL]

I am really starting to ponder the supplements a bit. I know by supplementing poulty with L-lysine, you can increase the growth weight significantly...I wonder how this may work in their scaly relatives. The same with L-Tryptophan...you may not want to drive or operate any heavy machinery after eating your collared on Thanksgiving day.

And then work in the opposite manner, become wired out, because God only knows what you have in you Mr. Ed ! THE PHYCO COLLARD LOL

I like that rugged look, hard worker, LOL Hey sooooooooooo thank you Don, you have parazap also, these people make fun of me, because I use it. I like the fact it is natural and you can not hurt them or over dose them. AND it works, I put it in Kinky's water and I think that it also increased his appetite. That is one of the things it does. It stimulates their appetite if they have had worms. John, you should put some in your morning coffee, it will work wonders, Your wife will see a noticable difference in your activity level LMAO Eve

Poison ivy is 100% natural
Marijuana is 100% natural
Opium is 100% natural
Lot's of fungi is 100% natural, but can kill you...

I have a small issue with the 100% natural is 100% safe statements.

Don't get me wrong...I'm not trying to knock the product, just the statement. I know you've used it, and it does seem to do its job.

eve Aug 24, 2003 10:31 AM

UNLESS YOU KEEP YOUR S*#@& UP !!! LMAO Anything can harm you, LENTILS put me in the hospital, LOL but, I have had excellent results with Squashy and Kinky, after using this, their appetites increased and they began eating on there own. Squash must scoff 6 crickets and a super everday now ! He never did that before ! He fights to grab the food now ! And none were ever harmed by the product. SO THERE LORD EDDINGTON STUFF THAT IN YOUR HIGH FLALUTIN, TOP OF THE LINE, PREMIUM, FILTER SAND BOX!!!!!! LOL

Johne Aug 24, 2003 11:15 AM

I'm not worthy of the "Lord" thing either. Lentils put you in the hospital...? Then you understand my point about the label.

Unsterile beach sand is more natural than Sterile play sand LOL...Nothing comes close to my state-of-the-art Pool filter sand :P I think it compares to Coral Calcium...the Okinawans have been eating 5 times the regular amount of filter sand on a daily basis, and they have the lowest levels of cancer...OH Horse$#@%!!!!!

Too much calcium is bad!!! A lot of heavy metals accumulates in that stuff...NOT GOOD!

eve Aug 24, 2003 11:18 AM
