Rainforest Phase Carpet Python....

DavidKendrick Nov 07, 2007 08:12 PM

LOL, I was reading an old Boas and Pythons Book from almost 20 years ago and they showed a picture of a Jungle Carpet Python but under the picture they called it "Rainforest Phase Carpet Python"...lol

Anyway...I thought I would snap a couple of pics of my "Rainforest Phase Carpet Python"...She likes to burrow under her water dish, so she is somewhat covered in mulch residue..lol

And just for fun, one of our Jungles we produced this last year, he was the runt of the clutch, and didn't start feeding for months, I almost thought we where going to loose him, but...one day he just starting feeding and is doing quite well now...We call him "Slinky"

Well, at least they got the python part right. That's more than can be said for some of the media lately...I saw a news clip where they called an Eastern Diamondback (at least that's what it looked like to me) a "Southeastern Cobra."

Awesome animals, too!
