how exactly would i get an albino spider? is it as simple as breeding an albino with a spider?

breed the spider to the albino and all the offspring will by het albino. 50% of the offspring should be spiders het albino. then u breed the spider het albino to another het albino or an albino and i think u have like a 1/16 chance of hitting a spider on a het/het breeding and a 1/8 on a het to albino breedin. hope that makes sense?

The odds are actually better than that.

Spider het albino X albino: each egg has 1 in 4 chance of being albino spider

spider het albion X het albino: each egg has 1 in 8 chance of being albino spider

If you had an adult albino female to cross with the spider male to start with and got lucky enough to hit the 1 in 4 odds per egg of producing a male spider het albino, got him to breeding size in 6 months, bred back to the albino female, you could hit the 1 in 4 chance per egg of an albino spider the very next year.

Breed an albino to a spider.......then you will have spiders het albino. (Normal looking spiders that carry the gene for albino)

Breed the spider het albino to an albino female or a het albino female and you have a shot at producing an albino spider.
