it has carrot tail in its genes, should have said het, it also has a very small amount of it....
-----

you shouldnt have said het, there is no such thing. it could carry the genes to be carrot tail, but that doesnt mean much, because in line bred morphs what shows is much more important.

i understand francis where you are coming from BUT it comes off a bit rudely considering ryan is a newbie to leogeckos, but not to herps. we all started somewhere and your responces comes off rather snotty and all knowing. ryan is not a troll. he is one of the best guys around. he is not a kid, like most on here. therefor he should not be replyed to as such. maybe an explanation rather than a mild attack might work better next time???

i didnt mean it to be rude or snotty at all. i thought it might sound that way as i was writing it, but i couldnt think of any other way to word it.

a super hypo carrottail cross baldy bred to a hypo tang (he is half david nieves line tang/albey stock) she is showing some very small amounts of carroting all they way around the tail. a carrottail? not but carroting none the less more and more intense than lets say a normal gecko. alot of the nieves line tangs throw fully striped or partially striped or abbarant babies. I am hoping this little female got some of nieves striped genes because Ryan is also getting 1.1 stripes from me and he will be breding his male to this female to see if she carries the gene. both kelli h and i agree the chances are very good. so he might be producing some killer hypo stripes or ya never know because of the genes maybe she could throw a tang stripe. plus he will be having his own little bell albino striped tang project going. nice little group of geeks for a first timer leo geek enthusiast..........
