UTH question

RedQuake Aug 23, 2003 08:58 PM

I changed over all of my tanks to tile and i have under tanks heaters on all of them. I just want to know what setting everyone using this setup has their Rheostat set to? I have it set between Low and Medium and the tile feels warm but i'm not sure its warm enough (i had it at medium but it felt maybe to warm). Is it Ok to put one of the temperature sticky strips on the tile, will that give me an accurate reading? (if yes what temp should it read?) I have only one digital thermometer with a long wire to the sensor that sticks to stuff and i'm using that in my crested tank. I can't find anymore like it either, i've looked everywhere.
Thanks in advance for the input

Nice prices.. might be able to find them cheaper SOMEWHERE, but you'd waste more time looking than it'd be worth.

Thankyou I believe the one i have is pictured at the bottom of my crested gecko tank pic. Its so tiny with such a long wire to the sensor that i could attach it to the bottom of a tank and have the display across the room lol. One of the good things my ex ever left me with LOL, i wish i knew where he got it from. Thanks for the URL, i'll check it out and see what i can get.
