RDR mentioned something about getting sperm plugs and rubbing them on the males and females back. Go to his website and look around and read about it.

I heard you should smear the sperm by the females cloaca.

Patience is a virtue.

You can't have been putting them together for that long...

A fresh shed from another male can help sometimes. You can also put the pastel with another male breifly and allow them to have a pushing match for a while. Keep an eye on them during this time !!! Remove the pastel and pair with a female , Sometimes the competition will get a slow started motivation.

You've received some great suggestions. Have you also double checked to make sure your male is a male? I bought a male pastel several years ago and named him "Arthur". Well, "Arthurettte" laid an 8 egg clutch this past season.

Put both you males in with the one female. Keep an eye on them. This may make you male want to breed.
