How many "Chuckers" are there is Socal?

negatronix Nov 09, 2007 03:02 PM

Just wondering how many of the regular "Chuckers" that post here are in Southern Ca, Western Az, or Southern Nv?

I'm also curious to know if there would be an interest in maybe getting together as a group somewhere in the southwestern desert to do some "Chuck-watching" or Desert Iguana gazing next spring.

I'm thinking not to catch and keep, but maybe a catch and release, or a day of sight seeing and learning about their natural habitats!

Could be fun!

I dont post in the forum that often but breed many chucks. I live in San Diego and think this would be an awesome idea.

I'm down! Southern CA. I know some good places.....although it isn't hard if you live in the range to pick up a few good places. haha. Let me know what I can do to either help with, or be a part of, this venture.

regards,

I live in SFV, SoCal and a future chucker next week with a pair of S. Hispidus. I'm planning to head over to Mojave desert this weekend since it's still pretty warm. And again in spring and to Arizona.
