runny nose

amelthia Nov 09, 2007 08:30 PM

I got my female out today for a sec and she was blowing bubbles out of one nostril but looked ok other than that, was active, had just eaten, etc. the temps and everything were fine and when I had her out last night to soak there was nothing wrong with her. I decided to raise the temps in the tank so about 20 minutes later I checked the temps and took another look at her nose..and no bubbles, no sounds, nothing, its like I imagined it. Its now been several hours and still nothing, and she's acting completely normal. My male had a runny nose when he was younger while he was in shed that went away in about 12hrs, but she's not in shed. Also..she shares a tank (with a divider) with the male and he's fine. Has anyone else seen an occasional bubble like this, or is it possible that she had sucked some water into it? she soaks frequently.
Thanks,
kim

I've had one of my bloods drool all over me when I toook her out, apparently after she'd drunk a lot of water. I guess yours could get a runny nose from drinking lots of water, but it's not something that's going to last very long if that's really all it is. Keep an eye on it.
