covering leo eggs

labendwa Nov 10, 2007 10:10 AM

After putting the eggs in vermiculite (dampened) in a plastic tub - should you cover the eggs with a lid and then put them in the hovabator or leave the tub open and fill water in the bottom of the hovabator.

If using a lid to cover the tub - punch small holes in it? leave it closed tight? cover with plastic wrap and punch needle size holes in it?

Help.

I used a deli cup ( they usually have holes on the sides we used duck tape and overed each hole...)
keep the lid on it dont put holes in it
once a week open the deli cup with the eggs in it to give the eggs air

here is a great site to show you how to incubate your eggs it explains alot
http://www.albeysreptiles.com/incubate-eggs.htm
